• Co-Chairman of the Plastindia's Empowerment Committee which establishing Plastindia International University at Vapi , Gujarat .

• Chairman of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS-PCD-27:8) Thermoset Committee

Achal has a Bachelors ('89) & Masters ('90) degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

• Sigma-Xi Scientific Research Award in 1988 for undergraduate research in using liquid polymers & surfactants for oil spill clean-up at the University of Massachusetts Lowell

Sital is an Executive Director at Tipco Industries Pvt Ltd. Tipco Group is one of the first polymer producers in India & was established in 1945. It currently has manufacturing facilities near Mumbai and New Delhi & offices all over India.

Sital has a Bachelors degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell) USA. He has been with Tipco Group since 1992 and is currently heading the Tipwood® business.
